The new cards will be called the "G Series Cfast 2.0" and will be available in 32GB (CAT-G32), 64GB (CAT-G64) and 128GB (CAT-G128) capacities. Sony says that this choice is in response to the "ever increasing capabilities of high-end DSLR and 4K cinema-grade broadcast cameras." The cards has released two new card reader/writers for CFast 2.0 and 1.0 memory cards with data transfer speeds up to 5Gbps over USB 3.0 (USB 3.1 Gen 1). The new readers feature a compact and portable design and come in either USB-C or USB-A versions.
